We have embarked on our Danish adventure!
With an off script travel route, each day is a new surprise. The boys took their first ferry ride, dipped their toes in the salt ocean water, survived the long drives and adjusted to sleeping together in a cosy upstairs sleeping compartment. The campervan holds us in a small, confided space but also gives us great freedom to choose where we eat, sleep and go. We ride on the wave of family chaos, discovering inspiring new places and reminding ourselves that the journey itself is the real destination.
Our only expectation is that we can enjoy the time we have together, slowing down, away from the daily rush and enjoying simple things.
